There is one nemesis in my cooking/baking world - it is the chocolate chip cookie. The perfect cookie alludes me. I follow the Toll House recipe and it never comes out....right. The family eats it and I will too but I know there is a better cookie out there.
So, this is my cry for help. If you have a tried and true recipe, bring it on!

(Use 2 cups of flour and one cup of oatmeal ground really fine in stead of 3 cups flour. A reviewer suggested it and it really does help)
I have the same problem, sista! I think that a lot of it has to do with the coookie sheet. I am a recent convert to the standard industrial style straigt up aluminum no frills cookie sheet (it's the cheapest and best, in my opinion), and I think it's yielded the best cookies yet. We gotta go to surfas and hook it up with some good cookie sheets!
